Portraits of Humboldt County Apples by Peggy Irvine
For the last six years, Peggy Irvine has been making detailed, life-sized portraits of heirloom apples from Humboldt County orchards. Her show will be up during the month of November.

November 1 Opening
During Arts Alive, from 6 to 9 p.m., we will have an heirloom apple tasting to celebrate the opening of Peggy Irvine's show.

Eureka Books is one of the last classic antiquarian bookstores on the West Coast, offering books and ephemera in all fields and price ranges. We are located in the heart of Old Town—the historic district of Eureka, California—in an elegant Victorian storefront built in 1879. Combined, our staff has spent more than six decades in the book trade. We're here to serve you.

Open every day but New Year's,
Thanksgiving, and Christmas.

Hours Monday through Saturday, 10 to 6. Sundays, noon to 5. Extended summer hours on most Fridays and Saturdays.
