Notes: A Duluoz novel.

Edition + Condition: First edition (states "First printing, 1962" on the copyright page). Previous owner's name inside, else a near fine hardcover copy in a very good, price-clipped dust jacket. The jacket has a few short closed tears and shows the surface scuffing common to the white portion of this jacket. Someone has written the original price ($4.50) in ink on the front flap, then crossed it out and wrote $1.00 (suggesting what Kerouac firsts were worth in the 1960s or early 1970s). As is often the case with this title, the jacket is a bit short.
