Edition + Condition: Probable first edition (with no indication of later printings on the copyright page). This is a very good copy with shelf wear to the bottom edge of the cloth and some foxing to the preliminaries. Corner of half-title torn. The jacket has a split halfway up the back fold of the spine with a horizontal tear across the spine. The book looks good in a jacket protector. However, what is particularly nice about this copy is that it has the author's bookplate on the front pastedown, suggesting that it was one of Mundy's personal copies.
