Designed and illustrated by Rolando Estévez. This pergamino consists of a single scroll formed from joined sheets of white bond paper printed with the text of the poem "Eternidad," reproduced from Estévez's calligraphy in Spanish, English, and French. The poem is decorated with color handpainted illustrations and borders, cutouts, and collage elements. A sheet of mesh about 21 inches long overlays the upper, illustrated part of the scroll, and has the title, in handcolored, cut-out letters, affixed to it, along with pistachio nut shells.
The back (verso) of the scroll is fully decorated with collage elements. The scroll rolls up into a handmade wrapper, adorned with a stick. The scroll and the related folded broadside is one of Estévez's favorite formats.
