Art and literary criticism about Angel Gaztelu, a Catholic priest who ran in literary and artistic circles in Havana. He brought contemporary Cuban art into churches and was a contributor to the important literary journal "Orígenes." This book was published to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the founding of the periodical.
The text is mimeographed on estraza (sugarcane waste) paper and illustrated with line drawings by Mayra Alpízar, each with spots of handcoloring. The binding is cardstock covers in a dust jacket assembled from several pieces of paper. The colophon indicates that this edition was signed, but as is often the case with Ediciones Vigía, the books were not actually signed.
