A small book containing an elegy for the poet's mother, a farmworker who participated in the UFW strikes in the 1970s.

Ratliff was born in McAllen, Texas, one of ten children in a migrant family. She was raised in California and returned to Texas as an adult, where she founded the Austin Hispanic Writers group.

Edition + Condition: A fine copy (stapled - there was also a string-bound issue).
