Jamís (1930–1988) was a Cuban artist and writer who was born in Mexico to Lebanese-Cuban and Mexican parents. He won the Casa de las Américas prize for one of his books and was a member of the artists' group Las Once.
This collection of small broadsides include illustrations by the author and one full-page drawing, all reproduced with a mimeograph. The front of the enclosing bag is also mimeographed and the back cover has a handcolored tipped on illustration.
