Edition + Condition: First or early printing, with 1891 date on the title page and blank copyright page. Very good in red cloth, stamped in black and gilt, with chipping to the cloth at the top of the spine. Dark blue endpapers. With a hard-to-read but legible gift inscription on the endpaper dated Jan. 12, 1891. According to the Pall Mall Gazette (15 Oct 1890), they received their copy from the publisher on Oct. 15, 1890. With 19 titles listed on the back of the half-title and five on the title page. This book is the first in the catalog bound in at the back.
