A nice 19th century introduction to species seen only under magnification, much expanded from the earlier editions.

Volume I: xlvi, 829 pages; volume II: 53 plates with facing text descriptions.

Edition + Condition: Very good in half red morocco; outer joints beginning to crack. A clean set.
