Notes: A delightful gift idea for a young child's bathroom.
This is a very attractive sheet of original wrapping paper for a bar of Kirk's popular children's soap, printed in blue and brown. The design incorporates hundreds of loose drawings of animals, toys, socks, utensils, and socks, lots of socks. 5-1/2 by 11-1/4 inches.
The James S. Kirk company advertised its Juvenile Toilet Soap at least as early as 1885 and it was very popular in the 1890s and continue production into the 20th century.
Edition + Condition: This sheet is slightly wrinkled but appears unused. A rare survivor.
