Edition + Condition: First US edition, numbered issued. A near fine hardcover copy with light fading to the spine. Faint evidence of a bookplate removal on the front free endpaper. The slipcase has wear at the corners. No dust jacket, as issued. This is copy 687, signed by Maugham on the limitation page. The spine fading endimic to this title is much less than that normally seen.
