Farmers Can Prevent Forest Fires
Plow Around to Prevent Forest Fires: See Your Fire Warden
Notes: An attractive color lithograph poster encouraging farmers to create fire breaks between their fields and woodland areas. Despite dating from the Second World War, the poster depicts a farmer pushing a horse-drawn plow instead of a tractor. Another man burns slash with a barn in the background.
The Forest Service issued various posters with the same headline but different images.
