Deliver More Now: Scrap Metals... Defense Production Depends on You

Notes: A poster from early in the Second World War encouraging Americans to recycle scrap metal for the war effort. The list of materials wanted is "scrap metals, scrap iron, scrap rubber, woolen rags, waste paper, cotton rags."

This poster was issued by the National Association of Waste Material Dealers in March 1942 (See Domestic Commerce: A Weekly Bulletin of the National Economy, March 19, 1942.) Uncommon, as is typical for WWII posters issued by private industry as opposed to the US government.

Edition + Condition: Printed on glossy paper. Small nicks along the edges and a bit of creasing at the upper left corner. Never folded. Ships flat. This is an original World War II poster, not a reproduction.
