Edition + Condition: First edition (stated, with a numberline ending in 2, as was Random House's practice). Near fine (wear to the bottom edge) in a jacket with a couple of short tears, one repaired on the back (verso) with tape, but this copy has none of the typical tanning on the spine. This copy is signed by Avedon over the title page in 1994. With the Whitney museum's 16-page introduction to the exhibit laid in.
