Notes: A letterpress printed edition of one of Duncan's most popular essays, a meditation on the death of his brother as a child and the unexplained arrival in the mail of a baseball signed by Mickey Mantle.
This first separate edition is illustrated by Howell Golson and printed by Daniel Urban at the University of Alabama. Ginger Berry bound the edition in Brillianta book cloth. The edition was just 50 copies signed by the author and by the illustrator, thirty of which were for sale.
