Notes: A collection of interrelated stories. Cisneros's first book from a New York publisher.

This set, assembled by a collector and housed in a black-cloth clamshell case, includes the following:

1) Advance Reading Copy (ARC), signed by Cisneros on the title page;

2) First edition, inscribed on the title page, "Para el Tom Garner, under a beautiful Texas sky—un grito con ganas! Sandra Cisneros, 11.26.94. San Antonio de Bexar, Tejas."; with a review slip laid in;

3) The first US Spanish edition, signed on the title page by Cisneros;

4) First paperback edition, inscribed by the author, "Para el Tom Garner, a good friend, a writer's blessing—thank you. Abrazos y fe, Sandra Cisneros."

Edition + Condition: All first editions (first printings); in fine condition and signed by Cisneros. The inscriptions are particularly good; El arroyo de la Llorona is quite uncommon in the first printing.
