Notes: A collection of poems from the one-time poet laureate of Puerto Rico. She was born in New York and taught there for many years. Arellano was one of just a handful of active Latina writers working before the 1970s.
One of 300 copies. 68 pages.
Edition + Condition: First edition (first printing, one of 270 trade copies). With a short tear at the top of the front wrapper, at the spine, else near fine with the original wrap-around band. This copy was used by Dorothy Clotelle Clark (Dorothy Clarke Shadi) for a review published in Books Aboard. A short, handwritten draft of the review is laid into the book along with an autograph letter, signed, by Arellano to Clarke, thanking her for her insightful comments.
