Notes: A small-format picture book about a boy who lives in a house filled with Rube Goldberg machines.
32 pages. 6 by 8-1/2 inches. Illustrated in color.
Edition + Condition: First edition (probably, with no indication of later printings), the issue produced for libraries. Bound in white boards illustrated on both sides with an image of a saw cutting a log. An elementary school name is stamped on the front free endpaper. The dust jacket, with a different front image than the boards, has a few tears, including a 2-1/2-inch split at the front flap. The Harper Crest sticker at the spine is mostly flaked off. The jacket flaps are clipped to remove the trade price; the library price of $3.79 is still present.
