Notes: The first US hardcover edition of the second Travis Magee book (originally published as a paperback original in 1964). The British publisher Hale issued the first hardcover.

Edition + Condition: First US hardcover edition (first printing with "First hardbound edition 1976" on the copyright page and no later printings noted). A very good hardcover copy in a like dust jacket with minor edge wear and a bit of spine fading. The jacket is too short for the book, as usual. The book has a REMAINDER mark on the bottom edge and a bit of foxing on the front free endpaper.
