Illustrated with numerous photographs, the book provides an overview of the various departments in the company and the basics of newspaper production and distribution. The AFRO is still in business today, as a family-owned weekly.
5-1/2 by 8-1/2 inches. A scarce look at Black journalism, with one holding recorded in OCLC (1274519054), at the Broward County Library.
Edition + Condition: First edition. Near fine, but for a narrow strip cut off the upper margin of the first leaf, probably removing an ownership mark.
