First Book with Nice Inscription

Edition + Condition: First edition (first printing stated). A very good copy in a very good, price-clipped dust jacket. The jacket has some surface wear (as often) and some bumping and wear to the corners. It is nicely inscribed, "For Paul—This is the last extant copy I think! [illegible]—Joan Didion May 19 1977." A much-better-than-usual inscription.
