Notes: A three-quarters-length portrait of the Irish novelist (1874–1911), who had two of the bestselling novels of 1904 and 1905—Masquerader (UK title John Chilcote, M.P.) and The Gambler. This photograph was undoubtled made about the time her books were on the bestseller list.

Brown-toned image, 4 by 5-3/4 inches on a larger plain card mount.

Edition + Condition: Photograph near fine with light surface scuffing. Captioned in pencil below the image and on the back (verso) of the mount.
