Notes: The fourteenth report of the Japanese Association of America (Zaibei Nihonjinkai), mostly taken up with information about and responses to the California Alien Land Laws (first passed in 1913 and strengthened in 1920), which prevented Japanese immigrants from owning land or entering into long-term leases. The Japanese Association also reports on its response to proposed legislation to regulate Japanese-language schools.

This installment includes three loose folding tables of information for 1921, comprising demographic information on local Japanese Association membership; statistics on Japanese arriving in San Francisco; and the Japanese population in America.
