Edition + Condition: First edition (first printing). A very good or better hardcover copy lacking the scarce dust jacket. With a previous owner's gift inscription on the front free endpaper dated Nov. 1912. A small Sime illustration is mounted to the front board, a bit of decoration that seems to have been omitted from later printings of the book.
