Notes: A comic Western screenplay by the writer who would give us The Exorcist a few years later. On the title page, Blatty is credited with the story and the screenplay, but the film was released as based on a novel by Frank O'Rourke. The film starred Zero Mostel and Kim Novak.
150 leaves, including an unnumbered stenographic department cover sheet and the title page, numbered to 144, with a number of combined and added leaves. The original version, dated 8/26/1968 and printed on light green paper, has been revised with sheets printed on varying colors of blue.
Edition + Condition: Very good in goldenrod cardstock covers printed with the title, the producers, and the studio. Someone has written "Steno" on the cover in ink and there is a small number, 83, stamped above the date.
