D. Salinger, and Fitzgerald into Japanese. Translation, with running, is one of his main avocations, something he does for fun.

This is a new translation of F. Scott Fitzgerald's last book.

This is one of a small number of copies signed by Murakami that were offered to bookstores in Japan. The books is signed in Japanese by Murakami above a rubber stamp of Murakami's name in English.

320 pages. 5-1/2 by 7-3/4 inches.

Edition + Condition: First edition (first printing, with the publication date and "初版" on the second line of the colophon). This copy is still sealed, with the publisher's signed sticker on the front of the shrinkwrap: お1人様1冊限定 | 著者直筆 | サイン本 (which translates as "Limited to 1 copy per person | Autographed by the author | Autographed book."

A fine hardcover copy in a fine dust jacket and obi (wrap-around band). Signed by Murakami on the front free endpaper.
