Notes: A novella by Porter, issued in an edition of 250 signed and numbered copies.

The book was published by the antiquarian booksellers Henry and Ida Schuman. Not long after they issued this book, they moved to New York City, where they were the first firm to specialize in the history of medicine.

65 pages. Printed by Peter Beilenson at the Walpole Printing Office.

Edition + Condition: First edition. A fine copy in paper-covered boards in a good to very good slipcase, cracked along one edge. This is copy 226 of 250 signed by Porter. With a small card with a note laid from the publisher, "With my best regards, Henry Schuman."
