Notes: The author's third novel, a semi-autobiographical love story.
Edition + Condition: First UK edition (first printing with no later printings noted). A near fine copy in red-paper-covered boards with a bit of residue from an old bookplate on the front free endpaper. In a very good dust jacket with wear at the corners and the spine ends. The jacket art shows Leslie Caron in the MGM film made from the book after its publication in the US in 1958.
