Notes: The first book, a thriller, by the author still best-known for his next novel, The Silence of the Lambs. The book was filmed in 1977 by the director John Frankenheimer. The plot centers around a planned terrorist attack during the Super Bowl.

Edition + Condition: First edition (first printing, with no later printings noted). A near fine copy in a near fine dust jacket that is very slightly tanned at the spine and has a small brownish stain at one corner. This copy is signed by Harris on the title page. After this book, Harris seldom participated in book signings.
