Edition + Condition: First edition (first and only Arkham printing). A fine, tight copy in a near fine dust jacket with some light surface scuffing. With the Lovecraft-inspired letterpress bookplate of the James Strand estate on the front pastedown.
This copy came from the important Arkham House collection assembled by James Strand of Portland, Oregon. After his death, in August 2023, his house was looted and most of his books were stolen. Some, like this one, were subsequently recovered by the FBI and have the evidence tag laid in.
