Edition + Condition: First edition (first printing with a numberline ending in 1). A very good or better copy in a very good dust jacket with a few short tears. This copy comes from the Harvard office library of Stephen Jay Gould and has a posthumous bookplate denoting the provenance. The book is inscribed, "For Steve, with warmest regards. Fight on! Paul." Gould's name is listed on page 219 of the book.
