Edition + Condition: First edition (first printing stated). Very minor wear, else a fine, unread copy with a very shallow scratch at the top edge.
This copy comes from the collection of James Strand, a major Portland collector whose library was looted after his death. This copy was stolen and later recovered by the FBI and was returned to the family. With the Strand estate bookplate on the inside front cover; the FBI evidence tag is laid in. The thieves who stole this were nowhere near as professional as Parker, and that's why the FBI seized this and other books.
