Edition + Condition: First edition (first printing, with a numberline ending in 1). Small bump to upper rear corner, else a fine copy in a fine dust jacket. Tight and unread.

This copy comes from the collection of James Strand, a major horror-book collector. His library was looted after his death; this is one of the stolen books recovered by the FBI, with the original evidence tag laid in. The small Strand estate bookplate is mounted to the front pastedown. The bookplate, with a Lovecraftian design, was printed letterpress.
