Notes: Book three of the Berrybender narratives, issued in a limited edition of 75 numbered. The limited edition was created by adding a rubberstamped limitation notice to the front blank of copies of the first trade printing.

While McMurtry owned a large bookstore in Archer City, he didn't typically sell his own books. Instead, he arranged for the nearby Three Dog Books to offer them for sale. For a number of years, they issued these signed limited editions with each new McMurtry book.

Edition + Condition: First edition (first printing). A fine copy in a fine dust jacket. Numbered, and signed by the author on the limitation page as copy 15/75. This copy comes with the custom slipcase by Robert Wang, which was designed for the lettered issue but could be purchased as an add-on with the numbered copies.
