Orishas: Leyendas y tradiciones [Orishas: Legends and Traditions]
Notes: [20] leaves. 7-3/4 by 9-1/2 inches. An edition of 100 copies.
Fourth (?) edition, printed letterpress on handmade paper. This is one of Cuadernos Papiro's most popular titles, which the press has reprinted a number of times in different formats. This version is in standard book form, with descriptions of seven Orishas (deities in traditional Afro-Cuban religion), instead of the six in previous versions. The new deity is Oyá.
The binding is paper covers printed with a collagraph made from coarse burlap; the sewing is a five-hole Japanese-style stab stitch using brown cord. Many strips of cloth are bound in as bookmarks. A "certificado de autenticación" is laid in with the colophon information.
