For several decades after the Treaty of Guadalupe Hidalgo, the governments of the new US states and territories acquired from Mexico printed major government documents in English and Spanish translation.
156 pages with two large folding tables of state receipts and expenditures for 1856, in English.
Edition + Condition: First edition (first printing). A very good copy in legal calf with red and blue spine labels. Outer joints cracking; bookplate of Mary C. Young and Mary Young Moore.
