Notes: Book four of the Berrybender narratives in the lettered issue, limited to just 26 copies, in a decorative slipcase by Robert Wang. The limited edition was 75 numbered copies and 26 lettered one designated with a rubber-stamped limitation notice to the front blank of copies of the first trade printing.

While McMurtry owned a large bookstore in Archer City, he didn't typically sell his own books. Instead, he arranged for the nearby Three Dog Books to offer them for sale. For a number of years, they issued these signed limited editions with each new McMurtry book.

Edition + Condition: First edition (first printing). A fine copy in a fine dust jacket and a near fine slipcase, with two very small areas of faint discoloration. Lettered, and signed by the author on the limitation page.
