Notes: A previously unrecorded Japanese-language newspaper from Portland, Oregon, edited by Toyoji Abe, who also edited Oshu Nippo, the Japanese language Oregon Daily News. This may have been a supplement or a twice-a-month summary of key stories. The main story in this issue is entitled "Bad Citizens", taking on (White) critics of Theodore Roosevelt, arguing that if elected president (as the Bull Moose candidate) Roosevelt would allow Japanese immigrants to own land and obtain citizenship.
