Edition + Condition: First edition (first printing, with no later printings noted—there were at least four additional printings). A near fine copy in orange cloth, in a dust jacket missing two inches at the base of the spine. The original $2.75 price is present on the front flap. This copy is nicely inscribed with a drawing of two characters from the book, a train and a giraffe, on the half-title page.
