There were 726 copies in various bindings. This copy is designated in type on the colophon as a publisher's copy (it's not clear how many copies Lord John Press's owner, Herb Yellin, designated for his personal use). It is bound in full leather(ette?) in a matching cloth-covered slipcase.

This publication was something of a disaster for Lord John Press. Page 1 and page 17 were reversed; the bindings are a bit too small; the slipcases are too small for the leatherbound copies. The ink used to sign and letter the books has migrated over the years.

Edition + Condition: First edition (first printing). The lower edge of the boards is abraded in place because the slipcase is too small and the fabric is too coarse, which creates wear when the book is pulled in and out. Signed by Simmons. Errata slip laid in.
