Notas breves

Notes: The American representative of the Comisión Reguladora del Mercado de Henequen [Regulatory Commission of the Sisal Fiber Market] narrates his actions in the US, from 1915 to 1917. The Mexican Revolution broke the US monopoly on sisal fiber cultivation in Yucatán, Mexico, and that led to great wealth in the Mexican state as fiber prices soared during the First World War. The increase in prices led to great concern in the United States, with extensive hearings in Congress.

An uncommon Spanish-language imprint, with six holdings in OCLC, three in the US and three in Mexico.
