Notes: A collection of newspaper articles on the history of the Japanese in Hawaii from 1868 to 1968, by a journalist with the Hawaii Times.
Kawazoe (1903–1971) filled a remarkable 191 scrapbooks between 1916 and 1970, which have been digitized by the University of Hawaii. Those scrapbooks were the primary sources for these essays.
