Notes: A revised text, based on the manuscripts and typescripts in the Rosenbach Museum, with editing and an introduction by Marvin Kaye. This new version is illustrated with seven drawings by Gorey along with ornaments and tailpieces by the artist.

This is one of 750 (there were 26 lettered copies as well) signed by Gorey on the limitation page and accompanied by a small offset lithograph also signed and numbered by Gorey.

Edition + Condition: A fine hardcover (no jacket, as issued) with a fine lithograph in a fine folding portfolio and a cloth clamshell box, also fine. This copy preserves the original cardboard sleeve and the original box. Number 314 of 750 signed by Gorey in the book and on the lithograph. The lithograph reproduces the image of Lucy Westenra from the book. A nice book with two Gorey signatures.
