Notes: A medical school thesis providing an introductory overview of cannabis, particularly the medical uses of marijuana. Alvarez Tostado notes that cannabis can be used to treat migraines, in gynecology, and as a pain reliever for cancer patients.
A scarce and early work on the medical uses of marijuana. Not recorded in OCLC, but there is a copy at the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México, where the author studied.
33 pages. 7 by 9-1/2 inches.
Edition + Condition: First edition (first printing). A very good copy in printed wrappers. Shoe print on page 29, short tears to edges of yapped covers. Inscribed by the author three times to various family members.
