The book was issued simultaneously in paperback and hardcover; this is the less-common hardcover. The correct first printion of this book is the London edition by Faber and Faber, which went on sale on July 3, 2014. This US edition was officially released on July 15 (according the websites of Waterstones and Bookshop).
Illustrated in full color throughout. 7-1/2 by 9-1/4 inches.
Edition + Condition: First US edition (first printing, with a numberline ending in 1 and the publisher's "first edition" logo on the copyright page. This copy is inscribed by Carroll with a drawing of a centaur saying, "Mew." "To Torril! (I can't draw horses...) Emily Carroll." Hard to find signed.
