Notes: A somewhat worn map for a mid-19th century sale of three full city blocks and parts of four other blocks in what is now Chelsea.
The map shows the area from 24th to 28th Streets and from the Hudson River to 10th Avenue and advertises properties, as well as "water privileges" The West Side Highway (or 12th Avenue) is here referred to as a "Proposed Exterior Street."
Lithographed. 17 by 22 inches on a slightly larger sheet.
Edition + Condition: Linen backed. Rather worn and soiled, with losses to margins (crossing the map border but not reaching the street section), closed tears, old folds, and pencil and ink annotations on the map.
