Notes: For such a popular, recent book, its publication history is rather cloudy. The undisputed first editions have a $24 price on the jacket and the ISBN 978-0-307-88743-6. The copyright page has a numberline ending in 1 and the words "First Edition."

This copy is, I suspect, from a special print run that included a tipped-in page signed by the author. It is priced at $26; has "New York Times Bestseller" added to the front of the jacket; and it has two ISBNs. The book has the same ISBN as the copies with the "First Edition" text; the back panel of the jacket has the ISBN 978-0-525-57288-6. The jacket does not have a mention of the film on the front.

Edition + Condition: First printing, thus? A very good copy in a very good dust jacket. The spine ends are somewhat bumped and there is some shallow denting to the jacket. Signed by Cline on a tipped in leaf.
