Notes: A 1920s anti-drug police photograph, captioned, "Over three million dollars worth of drugs and dope outfits seized by the New York Police Narcotic Squad were destroyed to-day." The scene has handwritten signs in the background identifying heroin, cocaine, hashish, and opium.
7-7/8 by 6 inches. Gelatin silver print with good contrast. Mimeographed caption (slightly incorrect, apparently referring to another picture in the series) taped to the back (verso) of the image. International Photo ink stamp also on verso.
Edition + Condition: A good-quality image; one corner cracked and repaired with old clear tape.
