Notes: This is a PC copy of the numbered issue, limited to 350 numbered books and a small group of PC (publisher's) copies. Paul Suntup gave this PC copy to Michael Russem in acknowledgement of his work as the book's designer.

The book, the sequel to The Silence of the Lambs, is illustrated by Jason Mowry. According to the Suntup website, the numbered edition has "a full Japanese cloth hand binding with a blind stamped cover, and a foil stamped leather spine label. Endsheets are French marbled and the edition is printed offset on premium Mohawk Via. It is housed in a brocade wrapped slipcase with cloth ends, and the edition signed by Thomas Harris and Jason Mowry." This copy is also signed by Russem on the colophon.

Michael Russem designed and printed innovative fine press books for his own Kat Ran Press for many years; he now runs a design bookstore and gallery near Cambridge, Massachusetts, and he also designs books for many publishers. Among the books he designed for Suntup Press include Slaughterhouse-Five, Silence of the Lambs, Blood Meridian, and The Handmaid's Tale.

With six full-page color illustrations by Mowry.

Edition + Condition: A fine copy in a fine slipcase with the envelope of premiums laid in. If one is very picky, there is a small triangular flaw in the cloth on the rear cover of the book.
