Notes: This is a collection of the Gauntlet Press publication of Bradbury's classic, The Halloween Tree. That edition Includes Bradbury's 1967 screenplay, a draft of the novel from 1971, the final version with a tally of changes made from the galley proofs, a teleplay, and companion materials. Certainly the definitive version. The lettered version includes content not found in the regular version, including several previously unpublished Halloween poems and a story, "The Elevator."

This is a grouping assembled by the collector Tom Garner and housed in one of his custom clamshell boxes. The contents of the box are:

1) The uncorrected proof, bound in paper wrappers and signed by Bradbury. Fine;

2) The lettered issue, publisher's overrun copy marked "PPC" on the colophon; with extra content. Signed by Bradbury, with his thumbprint in orange in. No slipcase. Near fine in a very near fine jacket;

3) The numbered issue, copy 651/750, signed by Bradbury. Near fine in a near fine jacket;

4) Color prints of the front and back jacket illustrations, each signed by Bradbury. Both fine;

5) A CD of Bradbury reading "The Groon", signed on the enclosing paper envelope. Fine.

Edition + Condition: First editions or proofs, with six Bradbury signatures. In a large, very good, clamshell box that has some fading.
